Once you place an order you will receive 2 documents: first the TICKET RESERVATION and later the ACCESS PASS(ES).
Your ticket reservation will be automatically reserved after having completing the booking process and submitted the visitors details. This Taj Mahal Ticket Reservation proves you have reserved your right to access on the date and slot requested
You will received your ACCESS PASS(ES) within 7 days before your visit or:
**If your visit takes place within 10 days, the access pass(es) will be sent to you within 48 hours.
**If you made a reservation for next day, the access pass(es) will be sent within 1 hour prior to your scheduled entrance time.
***If you made a reservation for the same day, the access pass(es) will be sent 30 minutes after your order from the time the details are submitted
In certains circunstances, access passes can be longer to be sent due to payments delays. Access passes will be sent once payments are confirmed by the customer banks following the schedule describe above.
Taj Mahal tickets (standard tickets) only include the entrance to the protected site. It does not include transportation from Delhi. Visitors will need to arrive to the Taj Mahal entrance door by their owns middles.
The Taj Mahal Advance tickets includes in addition the Entrance ticket, a transportation from Delhi to the Taj Mahal area or door by bus, car or train.
In certains circumstance it can also include a guide in English or other languages.
If the Taj Mahal only tickets, Taj Mahal with Mausoleum, Taj Mahal + Agra Fort and Taj Mahal with Mausoleum + Agra Fort on the day you want to visit, you need to choose another date.
Taj Mahal tickets have limited numbers of spaces available per day and it is highly recommended to book them in advance.
Tickets Taj Mahal is not responsible for any event that prevents the use of Taj Mahal Tickets such as: natural disasters, strikes, medical conditions, personal reasons or any event beyond our control that prevents you from using TAJ MAHAL TICKET; Therefore, we will not be able make any refund or modification on your ticket(s).
Visitors who open fraudulently disputes through their bank will risk penalties, sanctions and/or being pursued under their local authorities.
If a visitor failed to reach India or the Taj Mahal for exceptional circumstance such as health or transportation issues, they must contact their travel insurance to be covered. Disputes or chargebacks through banks are NOT travel insurances and they can be considered as a financial fraud if they are used to try to reversed transactions against the rules.
No, to gain entry to the Taj Mahal and/or Agra Fort, you must present the Access Passes that are sent to your email.
The Ticket Reservation only confirms that you have booked for a specific date, time slot, and ticket type, but it does not grant access to the sites.
Please note that the staff at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort will not accept your Ticket Reservation as valid for entry. Each visitor must download and show their individual Access Passes, which are sent to you via email after purchase or just before your visit. The Access Passes will be sent to the email address you provided during the booking process, with the subject line “YOUR TAJ MAHAL ACCESS PASS(ES) here” along with your order number.
Each Access Pass contains personal information, such as the full name and passport or ID number of the visitor.
If visitors fail to present their Access Passes at the entrance checkpoints, they will be denied access without the option for a refund, even if they purchase new passes on-site.
We strongly recommend downloading the Access Passes or checking your email before arriving at the sites to avoid any issues.
The Taj Mahal is a national and international classified and protected site; therefore, it depends on Indian Government and particularly on the Ministry of Culture. They establish access conditions, regulations, entrance fees.
Sales of Taj Mahal tickets at the entrance gate has been suspended since the pandemic. The physical ticket office may resume at some point but with a reduced number of tickets. We highly recommend you to buy your ticket through our booking system at the earliest.
The Taj Mahal Tickets availabilities are provided by the Ministry of Culture.
It is not possible to cancel or refund your Taj Mahal tickets once they have been issued. Unfortunately the Ministry of Culture does not accept any cancellation modification or refunds after a reservation is placed.
TAJ MAHAL TICKETS ➤ How many access passes will be sent if booking a Taj Mahal + Agra Fort ticket?
Visitors will receive 2 singles access passes for each monument.
Once a visitor place an order for a Taj Mahal + Agra Fort or Taj Mahal with Mausoleum + Agra fort ticket visitors will initially receive a single TICKET RESERVATION. Later (following the schedule) they will received 2 ACCESS PASSES, one for the entrance to the Taj Mahal and another one for the entrance to the Agra Fort.
Children up to 15 year old can access for free if they can prove they have less than 16 years the date of their visit.
Minors from 16 years will must pay full fare for their access.
Unfortunately is not possible to change the name, passport number or date of visiting after placing the order of the ticket(s).
Tickets Taj Mahal will not be responsible if customers provide not accurate personal information with mistakes.
The best ways to travel to Agra (city where is located the Taj Mahal) is by Train or private car.
Many trains from Delhi leave daily to Agra. New Delhi is the main railway station in Delhi and this station is located near Paharganj. The main Agra station and the closes to the Taj Mahal is Agra Cantonment station.
You can also book from Tickets Taj Mahal, TOURS Packages or Taj Mahal Advance tickets which include the transportation from Delhi by train or private vehicle and sometimes also a guide.
