Once you arrive to Agra Cantonment station you can either walk around 30 minutes or take a local taxi.

By Bus
Travelers can purchase bus tickets in Delhi or online and must present their ID or passports. Keep in mind that if buy your tickets in Delhi you will risk to book tickets from dubious reseller or take a slow bus. It is recommended to buy the tickets in advance in order not to waste time. Good buses are sold out full during the high season.
All buses leave passengers at the center of city of Agra. From there you will need to walk or take a local taxi to go to Taj Mahal door.

We took a train from Delhi to Agra. Queues are very long at the train station but we got the tickets in advance so no issues with the queue. We were lucky as while people was buying their tickets at the station the queue to board the train was almost empty so we were one of the first to board our train.
