Good alternative to Inka trek

We wanted to book the Inka trek but we did not know we needed to book it in advance. We booked instead this Salkantay trek as alternative and we loved it. Landscapes are beautiful, the trail is similar than the inca trek and the igloos are a nice way to sleep under the stars. We recommend this trek for couples like us.

Amazing place

Got official tickets on my mobile. Very helpful on July as the ticket offices queues are just crazy. Machu Picchu is a wonderful place, better than on pictures

Very nice experience in the middle of the pacific ocean. There were a lot of sea lions who were very friendly. We also saw 2 penguins but there were not swimming. The guide was helpful and the tour in general was well organized. We have made a similar (snorkeling) tour in Thailand but this one was more impressive because the animals are bigger and they swim next to you.
