Transportation:

This tour package only includes the shared transportation by minubus between Cusco and Machu Picchu Hidroelectrica (go and back).
It does not include the optional train service between Hidrolectrica and Aguas Calientes (go and back).
In order to go to Aguas Calientes from Hidrolectrica visitors must walk between these two towns. Visitors who do not want to walk between theses two towns can booked the optional train as extra during the booking process.

This tour does not include neither the optional bus between Aguas Calientes and the Citadel of Machu Picchu (up and down). Visitors, who do not want to walk up and down between these two points, can booked the optional bus as extra during the booking process.

Machu Picchu Ticket:

The ticket included in this package is a Machu Picchu ticket to visit the Citadel. This ticket does not include the hike to one of the mountains. Visitors, who want to hike one of the mountains, must add as extra this option during the booking process.
Please note that the access time to Machu Picchu will be the 6am slot unless there are no spaces available for that slot. If there are no spaces available for the 6am slot you will be booked for the next available slot (7am, 8am...). We highly recommend to book your tour enough in advance in order to secure the spaces.

Accommodation:

The hostel included in this package is not part of the paid offer but it is offer a courtesy. If visitors want to upgrade the accommodation to a 3 stars hotel they must select this option as extra during the booking process.

The departure time on day 1 will be at around 7:45am. The pick up at your hotel at around 7:00-7:45am. You will receive a confirmation email to confirm the tour and times.

On Day 2 after the guided visit to Machu Picchu you will be stay in Machu Picchu on your own. You will need make be sure you go back to Aguas Calientes by 11.30am. Once in Aguas Calientes you will start your trek back to Hidrolectrica. There the driver will be waiting for you to drive you back to Cusco. You will be dropped off in Central Cusco around 9.30pm in Plaza Regocijos.

It is recommended to arrive in Cusco at least 2 days before the tour in order to acclimatize and get used to the altitude. If you cannot arrive 2 days in advance it is strongly recommended to arrive the day before the tour because the tours start very early in the morning.
